fish canning


Around the world the oceans keep providing us with fish and different types of seafood. This food could mold quickly but there are some ways to save the sea food for a long time. In this essay I will show how fish is canned.
After the fish is caught it is transported to the industrial cannery. First the fish is cleaned and washed to remove any dirt. Next salt is added to the fish to prevent the growth of micro-organisms. Then it is washed again to remove the salt and prepare it for canning. After that the fish is canned. Then liquid that is made of oil and preservatives is added to the fish cans. Next the cans sterilized and prepared to be stored.
This steps show you how the fish is canned. Usually it takes three to four days to prepare the fish and make it ready for trading.
